Baseball, Drumsticks and Dog Parks

Inside Wrigley Field last Wednesday and Thursday working a promo table for work. The hustle and bustle of a Cubs game and the smell of hot dogs and grilled deliciousness with my girls.

Down on the field to hear our artist sing the National Anthem before the game!

Once the promo table wrapped up we had awesome seats to take in the rest of the game.

My boys were back in town. Third Eye Blind shows on Friday and Saturday in Chicago and Milwaukee.
Rocking good time, after parties, dj club sets, drumsticks... I LOVE this band.

And Sunday, a day of relaxation with coffee and a visit to the dog park for some puppy watching.

You can't fit the world inside a picture frame...

It's a cool 62 degrees here in North Chicago and I am overdue on an update. The boss is back - and I don't mean Springsteen, and I have roughly four weeks of freedom remaining until the summer concert schedule kicks into full swing. As much as I enjoy my job I think I preferred my life so when that concert schedule was my own meticulous planning of road trips and setting alarms to wake up and buy tickets the second the clock ticks to 10 a.m. I am not, and cannot complain though, c'est la vie. And life is good.

In my last post I promised photos of Allison and I's new place. Feast your eyes upon our Andersonville apartment (complete with captions!)

Our place is a walk up, the front entry way has stone flooring and leads into the living area (pictured from a different direction than the entrance).

From the living room looking into the dining room area. Notice the big beautiful plant, his name is Humphrey, and the stack of Rolling Stones. The dining room area has no dining room table and still is home to a few boxes and un-hung pictures. Allison's room is off to the left in the dining room, the hall leads to my room, the bathroom and into the kitchen.

To the right in the hall is our bathroom. The aloe vera plant's name is Vinnie, he's getting unruly.

Our kitchen, with all new appliances. Small but nice! There is another door leading to a back entry way connected to our upstairs and downstairs neighbors and the laundry room. It exits onto a nice sized deck and a back yard. I'd show you a picture but it hasn't been manicured in awhile and looks a bit jungle-ish!
